The purpose of our high school ministry is to encourage spiritual growth and Christian fellowship among high school-age youth. We want to encourage youth in the habits of daily Bible reading and prayer and help them build friendships with other Christian young people.
High School Growth Groups
The core of the high school youth program is the High School Growth Group which meets Sunday evenings. Youth are also encouraged to help out in other St. Andrew ministries by sharing music or readings in worship, helping with computer and audiovisual work, or assisting with programs for younger children.

BeyondU is a regional teen movement that meets once a month at Wisconsin Lutheran Chapel near the UW Campus. We gather (around food) to connect with teens from all over the Dane County area, spend some time digging into God’s Word around a faith topic, and close out the night with worship led by one of the bands from the Chapel. Find us on Facebook and Snapchat/beyonduwi.
One of our strategic partnerships for high school ministry is with Lakeside Lutheran High School in Lake Mills, WI. Lakeside cultivates a curriculum that produces students who desire to reach their full potential while helping them understand that their faith is relevant in life and their individual gifts should be used for lifelong ministry in their homes, vocations, churches, and communities.
