PowerHour

PowerHour is enrichment for children up to age 3 with parents/caregivers. PowerHour happens at 10:30 AM on the 1st and 3rd Friday of the month from September – May in our gymnasium. Each PowerHour has a fun theme and includes creative and fun learning activities, stories, sing-along songs, and a message from Jesus. After our closing song, each child gets a snack-to-go.

PowerHour is led by Miss Shelly with help from Miss Ellen and Miss Deb.

From Miss Shelly:
“PowerHour is play-based learning in a relaxed setting. At PowerHour, children explore their world, alongside peers, using themed toys and activities. Parents and caregivers play with their children and make connections with one another.”

We would love to have you come to the next PowerHour!

Here’s what people are saying about PowerHour:

“PowerHour is one of the highlights of our week. Miss Shelly puts so much into making each week unique and fun for the kids. From arts and crafts projects to homemade play areas, there is so much for the kids to do, and it is all focused around God’s love for us.”
– Annie

“PowerHour is great! All the creativity and preparation guarantee the kids have a blast, and it is so good to spend time with other parents and kids in a similar season of life.”
– Lynn

“Bringing my two year old son and my two month old daughter to PowerHour was the first way our family got plugged into the welcoming community of St. Andrew and Westside Christian School. The leaders of PowerHour know my children by name and take the time to smile and get to know their personality. It’s such a nurturing, caring environment for my little ones to play and learn alongside other kids their age.”
– Krista
