2024 Mission Trips

“For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and
therefore all died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for
themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again” (2 Corinthians 5:14-
15). We send members on mission trips for many reasons, but primarily because as
children of God, we are called to share his amazing message of forgiveness of sins
through Jesus. Our time and abilities are not our own, nor are they only for our own
satisfaction and pleasure. Therefore we joyfully give what God has given us to others.

Teen Trips

Illumine | Rock Hill, SC | July 13-18

For the first time, we will be joining the ministry of a growing church in the Charlotte metropolitan
area, just south of the Carolinas’ border. If the name sounds familiar, it is. We’ve worked with the
founding pastor of this church at the church he now serves in Seattle, Illume. Our main work will
focus on an evening outreach camp and other possible community activities, such as a petting zoo,
park event, canvassing, street interviews, etc. We are hoping to use our days to assist the church
with other needs and explore the greater Charlotte area.

Beautiful Savior | Cincinnati, OH | July 23-28

We will be joining a second new location with a driving trip to Cincinnati, Ohio. They are very excited
to have our teens help with a morning VBS camp geared towards younger children and various
evening camps for the older children. Don’t worry! There will definitely be time in between the
serving opportunities for rest or fun activities. We plan to stop at the Ark Encounter and/or Creation
Museum. Since this location is only about 7 hours from Madison, our team will be driving to and
from St. Andrew for this trip.

 

Adult Trips

Sure Foundation | Brandon, SD | August 21-25

Located near Sioux Falls, Brandon, South Dakota is one of the fastest growing communities in South Dakota. The Sure Foundation congregation was founded in 2019 and has continued to grow, even to the point of beginning a building project last fall. Our mission team will be working with Sure Foundation's outreach team. Since this location is only 6 hours from Madison, our team will be driving to and from St. Andrew for this trip. Apply here.

WELS UK | London, England | July 5-15

Our church body will be coordinating several groups to head to London to assist the WELS mission
church with transitioning from monthly to weekly services. During the 10 days in London our team
will assist with local outreach events in order to find opportunities to invite locals to worship. There
would be time off from serving for sightseeing. Please contact us for more information on this trip.
