This Week

For you
This week began with people shouting, “Hosanna.” It will end with demands: “Crucify him.” But Sunday will begin with the Good News: “He is risen!” Jesus’ death and resurrection is all for you, for your peace. In the cross and empty grave we find life, freedom from sin, and peace with God. Gather with God’s people this Thursday, Friday, and Sunday to recall and receive the power of the passion story. Through Jesus’ sacrificial love, he has secured your salvation and promised you eternal life. As you walk through this week, may you be filled with the peace and joy that comes from knowing that Christ is for you.

Westside Christian School

A ministry of St. Andrew, preparing students for academic success and lives of Christian service founded on God’s Word

Call update
On Sunday, the voters of St. Andrew called Beth Plath to serve as 3rd grade teacher in our ministry of Westside Christian School. Beth’s husband, Dan, accepted the call to serve as principal beginning in the 2024 – 25 school year. They are both currently serving at St. Paul’s Lutheran School in Beverly Hills, Florida, through the end of this school year before they move to Wisconsin. Mrs. Plath is highly regarded, has 25 years of experience teaching all ages, and her preferences for teaching fit the 3rd grade teacher position left vacant by Ms. Gnewuch’s acceptance of a call to Simpsonville, South Carolina. Please pray for Mrs. Plath as she deliberates her call.
