This Sunday
The Hard Way
Pain is a reality of life. You know it. I know it. Everyone knows it. We might be very different, though, in how we respond to it. What do you do when you’re feeling pain? This weekend, learn from the prophet Jeremiah. His was an exceptionally hard and tragic life. He’s even called “The Weeping Prophet!” Join brothers and sisters feeling pain this Thursday at 7 PM or Sunday at 8 and 10:30 AM. Receive the same comfort, salvation, and the glory God gave Jeremiah.

Nurture
Ways to be connected to Jesus throughout the week in your personal life and with others
Divine call
From Mr. Kjenstad: Thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers as I deliberate the two calls before me. The Holy Spirit is leading me through the call process which gives me confidence in the upcoming decision.
Family devotions
If you have children at home, the most important thing you give them is Jesus. WELS has a resource to help you do that. Click here to learn more. Getting in a habit of having devotions at home is a challenge but so worth the time and effort. If you want help with this, reach out to Mr. Kjenstad.
Impact
One of the most well-known miracles of Jesus is the Feeding of the 5,000. This miracle blows the mind. How is what he did possible? There is a very simple answer: God is all-powerful. Listen to all the lessons we can learn from this true story in the ministry of Jesus. And hear why this episode is one-of-a-kind. Click here for Impact, or find it where you listen to podcasts. Search “Kjenstad Impact.” Impact is new every Monday, and all past episodes are available.
PowerHour
There will be no PowerHour on March 18. It will resume on April 1. PowerHour is a fun-filled learning hour for parents/caregivers and their children ages 1 – 3. PowerHour happens at 10:30 AM on the 1st and 3rd Friday of the month in the gymnasium. Each PowerHour includes playtime, fun stories, sing-along songs, and a message from Jesus. Who can you tell about St. Andrew PowerHour?

Thank you
My Brothers and Sisters at St. Andrew,
Thank you! We asked, you prayed, God listened.
God held the surgeon’s hand rock steady as he made his cuts close to my heart.
He kept the fingers nimble of all those who sewed me up after the surgery.
God provided me with a capable and compassionate recovery crew.
He provided us a safe trip back home from the hospital.
I still have a long recovery, but I know that he will be walking beside me all the way.
Thank you, my brothers and sisters, for your prayers. Thank you, Jesus, for your love and care. Most importantly, thank you for your grace and salvation.
May God bless you,
Harry Radloff

Westside Christian School
A ministry of St. Andrew, preparing students for academic success and lives of Christian service founded on God’s Word

Please keep her and her husband in your prayers as they determine where Ashley will feed Jesus’ lambs.
Paraprofessional teacher
Westside Christian School participates in the Special Needs Scholarship Program, which allows students who have an active IEP or services plan the opportunity to attend a Christian school. We are looking to add a paraprofessional teacher for the 2022 – 2023 school year who would work one-on-one with students to support them with academic learning tasks and provide sensory breaks. Candidates preferably have specific training related to supporting the education of students with special needs. Contact Meredith Pucci for further information and to receive a complete position description.
Classroom assistants
Westside Christian School is looking at adding additional classroom assistants for the 2022 – 2023 school year. Classroom assistants support our lead teachers by preparing materials, working with small groups of students on instructional tasks, and supervising students at recess. Positions can be either full-time or part-time. Candidates ideally have a minimum of one year working with children in an educational setting, demonstrate a willingness to cooperate with other adults, and a joy for supporting students of all ages.
