This Week
When a friend describes someone as, “a straight-shooter,” or says, “you know where you stand with her,” you know your friend means you can trust that person. Christmas is God’s message to you, “You can trust me.” He took a long time to keep his promise to send the Savior, but he did. He is taking a long time to keep his promise to return to earth in glory, but he will. Don’t confuse your agenda of what you want him to do for you with faith in his agenda of what he wants to do for you. You’d be selling yourself way too short. Let Christmas show you what he has in store for you, in his time. Join us for worship Christmas Eve at either 1, 3, or 5 PM and Christmas Day at 9 AM.

Small Talk
The St. Andrew podcast Small Talk is back! Take a listen to hear about Jesus: the baby of Christmas, the promised Savior, and our reigning King. Host Rachel Kamin chats with young children from St. Andrew. She asks questions, and the kids take it from there. This week, listen to Jack talk about Jesus as our King. You can find Small Talk here or wherever you listen to podcasts by searching “Kjenstad Impact.” You can’t listen without smiling!

Nurture
Ways to be connected to Jesus throughout the week in your personal life and with others
Grow in Grace
“I worry that I worry too much.” That is the latest series at Grow in Grace. This whole church Bible study will give you encouragement to worry less and trust more. The 4-part series continues on January 22, not on January 15 as previously stated.
Impact
Impact is a podcast ministry of St. Andrew. Impact offers you a unique way to grow in your understanding of God’s precious Word. This week begins a 2-part Christmas episode focusing on Matthew’s account of the birth of our Savior. You can find Impact here or wherever you listen to podcasts by searching “Kjenstad Impact.”
PowerHour
If you have a little one 3 or younger, check out this enriching ministry. PowerHour is for children and their parents, grandparents, or caregivers. For more details about PowerHour, click here. The next PowerHour is January 6 at 10:30 AM, and the theme “Fun in the Snow.”

Service & Outreach
Opportunities for you to live your faith and love for Jesus by sharing Jesus with others
December Monthly Mission Partner
Our December Mission Partner is the Local Assistance Fund. The Love of Christ (TLC) ministry team works with this fund to provide love where it is desperately needed. This may come in the form of a handwritten note, aid for those who are homeless, spiritual counseling, or money for car repairs, gas, or food. The Local Assistance Fund could help someone you know or those who drop in looking for assistance. You and our volunteers make this happen. Thank you!
Kreuziger kickoff party
Come welcome the Kreuziger family with a kickoff party on Sunday, January 8, 4 – 6 PM, in the gymnasium. The theme of the party is an old-fashioned Wisconsin tailgate with Wisconsin themed activities for both children and adults, delicious tailgate food, a dessert competition, and of course a time to meet Pastor Clinton, Michelle, Violet, Hawthorn, Iris, and Lavender. Show your team spirit by dressing in your favorite team’s gear. To RSVP and sign up to help, click here. If you are interested in joining the dessert competition, register here or in the atrium. Go St. Andrew!
Kreuziger card shower
Over the next few weeks, let’s fill a box with gift cards and cards of encouragement to bless Clinton and Michelle as they move to the area to serve among us. We will then present them with the gifts at the installation party. If you would like to participate, there is a card box in the atrium with their names on it.

Westside Christian School
A ministry of St. Andrew, preparing students for academic success and lives of Christian service founded on God’s Word
Call returned
Dear brothers and sisters at St. Andrew,
After prayerful consideration, I have decided to return the call to teach 1st grade at Westside Christian School in Middleton. As I learned about you and your ministry there in Middleton, it became evident that God is doing great things there and that he’s truly blessed you with a heart for ministry and a wonderful team to work together to share the Word of Life with this generation and the next! I truly appreciate everyone who reached out to me. Thank you for your thoughts and your prayers. I will continue to keep you and the ministry there in my prayers in the full confidence that God will graciously bless his church in the future as he has in the past. May his Word continue to shine through you to bring love, truth, life, peace, and hope to all gathered there in his name!
God’s continued blessings to you in Christ,
Rachel Buschkopf
Call received
Dear Members of St. Andrew and Westside Christian School,
On Thursday, December 15, I received a call to serve as the Director of Curriculum and Instruction for WLA Schools, a new position that would be serving 14 K – 8 grade schools and one high school. I am humbled by the opportunity to evaluate the roles and responsibilities of each of these calls and the future goals of both ministries. I am confident that God will grant me wisdom and guidance as I prayerfully consider where I can best use the talents and abilities he has blessed me with to serve his kingdom.
I would appreciate your prayers as I deliberate the calls set before me and welcome any thoughts you have to share.
God’s blessings to you this Christmas season.
In Christ,
Meredith Pucci |
