This Week

Still Risen
Romans 6 tells us about our response to Jesus’ resurrection. It is freedom! But what do we do with our freedom from sin? Freedom from righteousness, that is, living in sin, only leads to death. But now, having been raised with Christ, we are free to be slaves to righteousness, and the result is eternal life. Join us for Easter part 2 on Thursday night at 7 or Sunday morning at 8 or 10:30.

Highlights

Events and ministry news needing immediate attention

A church of servants
Holy week saw about 2,000 total worshipers on-site at St. Andrew, in addition to hundreds online. They could not have been served the way they were with only a handful of regular staff. Volunteers made these worship services not only possible, but beautiful, by decorating, rearranging, assembling worship folders, singing or playing an instrument, running the A/V booth, ushering, greeting, cooking, serving food, cleaning, and countless other unseen tasks. Thank you to all who gave up their time, hands, minds, and dollars to demonstrate their love for Jesus, who, because of his great love, died and rose for us. To God be the glory!

Thank you, Easter chefs
What a joy to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus. That joy was enhanced by a tasty Easter breakfast prepared by St. Andrew members. We sincerely thank Kallista Fischer and Laura Westphal and their families for all their efforts to provide a meal for several hundred guests. Thanks also to all who helped them prep, serve, and clean up.
