Ways to be connected to Jesus throughout the week in your personal life and with others

Small Talk podcast
It’s time for an all-new episode of Small Talk! Two young guests eagerly share their faith as they talk about Holy Week. The emotions of Holy Week included sadness, fear, anger, and joy. Violet and Hawthorn discuss them all, while keeping both eyes on the good news that the resurrection of Jesus means our sins have been paid for and death has been defeated. You can listen to Small Talk here or by searching “Kamin Small Talk” wherever you listen to podcasts.

Impact podcast
Jesus came to earth not to be served but to serve. Washing his disciples’ feet epitomizes his servant’s heart. Of course, he served all of us in a much greater way when he was nailed to the cross. Dr. Phil Huebner, Wisconsin Lutheran High School Bible teacher, is here to take us through the night Jesus washed his disciples’ feet. Listen to Impact here or by searching for “Kjenstad Impact” wherever you listen to podcasts.

Service & Outreach

Opportunities for you to live your faith and love for Jesus by sharing Jesus with others

We need your picture!
Have you ever arrived in a new community and been expected to learn hundreds of names and faces quickly? Well, that’s what we’ll be asking of a new pastor soon. To help make that easier for him, let’s try to make sure he can access current pictures of the St. Andrew family. You are invited to take a picture of yourself or your family in the sanctuary after Easter worship. Please send that or another current picture in portrait orientation to [email protected]. Thanks for your help in the coming transition.

Service opportunity | Easter breakfast
Large meals take a lot to put on, so if you are interested in helping with Easter breakfast anytime between 7:00 and 11:30 AM, contact Pastor Clinton or sign up here (scroll all the way down).

Thank you, Lent chefs
Have you ever cooked for 250 people? It’s not easy, and yet we had six wonderful Lent dinners this year. Thank you, chefs, for helping us focus on the Crucial Hours of Jesus without worrying about dinner for a month and a half. We very much appreciate all of the following, plus all who served alongside them:

  • Laura Westphal
  • Jesus Avila and Asencion Montenegro
  • Gayle Frye
  • Dan and Sarah Arndt
  • Dwayne and Stacy Kratt
  • Jane Dew

Service opportunity | Brat Fest
St. Andrew will again be a Brat Fest charity. Volunteers interact with the community and earn donations toward St. Andrew ministry mission trips. Opportunities abound from May 18 – 25, but you must register here, and then please let Pastor Clinton know which slot you signed up for. Sign up right away to make sure you get your desired slot. Find more information about Brat Fest at bratfest.com.

Westside Christian School

A ministry of St. Andrew, preparing students for academic success and lives of Christian service founded on God’s Word

End of teacher call season
This year, April 15 not only marks tax day, it also marks the last day that teacher calls can be issued. Westside Christian School has once again been blessed to receive a teacher from another school, Sarah Durkee, and recent graduate Emma Nolte. At Tuesday’s call meeting, the voters of St. Andrew issued a letter of intent to call Mrs. Gale Hellpap to be our 3rd grade teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. Please keep Mrs. Hellpap and her family in your prayers.

Several of the current WCS teachers received calls during this calling season and have chosen to remain at Westside. We thank God that those teachers did decide to stay and pray that their ministry here remains strong.

In the coming weeks we will be spotlighting the new teachers coming to WCS so that we can get to know them better. Until then, please keep all the teachers and students at WCS in your daily prayers. Pray that all teachers and students have patience and calm as they finish up another school year.

Eighth grade class trip
The 8th grade students are headed on their very last field trip of their Westside Christian School career. They could use your help. Tuesday, April 22, 4 – 9 PM, Zupas restaurant (Middleton location) will be helping our 8th graders raise some money. They are offering to put 25% of their sales toward helping our students. You can order online, from the app, or in the restaurant. Tuesday, May 6, Jersey Mike’s (Middleton location) will be doing the same thing. Use promo code JMGIVES on the app or in the store. What a great excuse to get out of the house and enjoy an evening for a great cause! See you there!
