“For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and
therefore all died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for
themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again” (2 Corinthians 5:14-
15). We send members on mission trips for many reasons, but primarily because as
children of God, we are called to share his amazing message of forgiveness of sins
through Jesus. Our time and abilities are not our own, nor are they only for our own
satisfaction and pleasure. Therefore we joyfully give what God has given us to others.
