Mark 12:28-34Series: Mark
One of the first passages little Hebrew babies, including baby Jesus, learned was, “Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God is one.” Hear. Listen. Wake up. God who had delivered them from slavery knew they were about to have a comfortable life and they would have tendency to forget that God was the one who rescued them. We have the same tendency to forget God and pursue other things. But when we do that, we are doing our souls, minds, and hearts a disservice. Hear, St. Andrew, the Lord our God is one. We come here to hear his story again, the story of how he has rescued us from sin, death, and Satan, and to meditate on what that means for our lives. We’re glad you joined us today and pray that Jesus presses into you his purpose for your life.
