What do you do?
Children learn about God’s creation through experiences in play, relationships, and exploration. I get to foster that each and every day as a Preschool Teacher and the Preschool Director at Westside Christian School! Building relationships with families who entrust their most precious gift to our care is so important to our school’s ministry. Working together with parents to teach their children about the knowledge and love of our Savior is such a blessing!
How did you come to St. Andrew?
I was a teacher in Grenada previously. When I moved back to the states, I got a job at State Farm Insurance, and then moved to UW Health, but really missed teaching. I talked to my pastor about it, and he told me that the Preschool Director here was retiring. God had a plan all along!

Psalm 121
A song of ascents. I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip—he who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord watches over you—the Lord is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all harm—he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.

I am the mom of three grown sons and also have five beautiful grandchildren.
What is your favorite vacation location?
Beaches! I am a Washington native and have always enjoyed being near the water.
